Local history. Follow the Mousehole trail through narrow streets, around the ancient harbour and across the sandy beaches. Find the home of Dolly Pentreath, the famous fish wife who is reputed to have spoken the last words of Cornish with a voice loud enough to be heard in Newlyn!
Cycling. It is easy to join the National Cycle Network from Mousehole (Muscle Rub can be found in the Bathroom First Aid kit!!!) Bikes can be hired in Penzance.
Eating. Mousehole caters for all tastes and budgets. Choose from exclusive Restaurants, Cafes, Fish and Chip Shop, Pub’s and Hotels and Jessies Dairy/Ice Cream Parlour that also sells home-made Pasties.
Walking. Mousehole is on the Coast Path, following it towards Lamorna brings you to the wooded Nature Reserve at Kemyl. If you are feeling more aventurous and wish to travel further afield but not take the car we can drop you off along the coast so you can return on foot!
Singing. Listen to the Mousehole Male Voice Choir at one of their open air concerts on the harbour car park.
